A few years ago, I bought one of those handy bag in bags. It’s like a big red envelope. It’s one that holds the diaper, some wipes and a changing pad so you don’t have to bring the whole diaper bag, fishing out the necessary parts during those urgent moments. It was rather handy. When on family outings, I would hand the red pouch to my husband and send him and my son to the bathroom for necessary changing!
That bag disappeared at some point earlier this summer. Don’t know if we left it on a trip, someone’s house or what. I didn’t realize how much I liked this bag. I didn’t want to buy a new one, because I kept (keep) hoping my son will be out of diapers. Then it came time for another trip and I wanted that crucial piece to bring in the tight airplane bathrooms.
Duh– why don’t I use one of the gallon neat-os? I can throw it in the washing machine when neededand wipe it clean, of course! Now we have a new diaper bag — one orange gallon neat-os bag. It holds our changing pad, a few diapers, a pack of wipes, and cream. We are good to go!
